We’re happy to discuss your project via phone or at an initial site visit at no cost, after which we’ll provide a contract outlining the rest of the costs if you choose to move forward with us.

do you offer free consultations?

Yes. We begin each project by evaluating your site and local building requirements, including setbacks, size limits, and square footage restrictions.

Do you offer feasibility studies or site evaluations?

Design & Visualization

Yes! Our 3D programs allow us to show you the inside and outside of your home in black and white. Color renderings and walkthroughs are available for an additional charge.

Do you provide renderings or virtual walkthroughs?

We believe landscape design and in-depth site planning is best left to a landscape architect. Need a recommendation? Just ask!

Can you help with landscaping as well?

We can assist with selections like tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, etc. While furniture selection is best left to an interior designer, we can help ensure the pieces you choose will fit perfectly in your space.

Do you do interior design?

Our in-house structural engineer reviews every design to ensure your project is safe, stable, and built to code.

How do you ensure the design is structurally sound and safe?

Costs & Budgeting

Our fees depend on the type of project. For new construction, we usually charge a fixed fee based on the square footage. For renovations, we tailor our approach based on the scope, either hourly or as a fixed fee.

How do you charge?

While we don’t provide cost estimates ourselves, we strongly recommend involving a general contractor early in the process. They can help ensure your project stays within budget while we focus on creating a design you’ll love.

Yes! Hiring a professional early is one of the best ways to manage costs without sacrificing quality. We can help you understand the reasons behind expenses and suggest alternatives that achieve your goals while staying within budget.

Are there ways to reduce construction costs without compromising quality?

Permits & Regulations

While your general contractor will handle the permit submission, we provide all the necessary drawings and documentation required by your local building department to make the process smooth.

Do you handle building permits and approvals?

Yes! We’ll review your neighborhood or HOA guidelines, design your project to meet those requirements, and assist with the submission process.

Can you assist with HOA or neighborhood restrictions?

Yes! We’re happy to join contractor interviews and help you evaluate which team is the best fit for your project.

Can you help me choose a contractor?

We’re committed to keeping you informed. At the start of your project, we provide a design schedule and send updates via email to keep you up in the loop.
